    Being thankful in life is something that everyone can do, one of the reasons being that you are still alive and able to appreciate this life. However, we often forget to feel thankful when confronted with a difficulty. And as a result, we have been imprisoned, draining us of our happiness.

    Nonetheless, we may build gratitude in our lives by following these easy guidelines for nurturing gratitude in life. However, before we continue with another learning experience on how to act in such an event, the following are some disclaimers:

    10 ways to become more grateful in life:

    1) Keep a gratitude journal

    Why you should have a gratitude journal? Create a daily habit of reminding yourself of the blessings, grace, advantages, and pleasant things you appreciate. Taking the time each day to reflect on moments of appreciation connected with everyday occurrences, personal characteristics, or important persons in your life enables you to weave a sustainable life theme of gratitude.

    2) Commit to one day a week when you won’t complain about anything

    Rather than whining about the events of your life, try to remain quiet for a minute and create a day of gratitude. It does not have to be perfect, but at the very least you are showing gratitude for what life has taught you so far. Put an end to your whining and express gratitude.

    3) Bear in mind the negative

    To feel thankful in your present condition helps to recall challenging experiences in the past. When you recall how tough life was and how far you've gone, you present a powerful opposition in your memory, which provides a critical foundation for gratitude.

    4) Avoid negative media and movies with destructive content

    The media has a strong effect on our minds, thoughts, and lives. Frequently, we see or hear about destructive acts in the world, which eventually destroys our hearts and mind.  What is happening in the world now will worsen, but we cannot disregard this on one hand. As long as we live, we must maintain a sense of appreciation so that we may share it with others, letting them know that there is still hope. Avoid watching or listening to damaging films or media unless you are psychologically competent.

    5) Learn of the prayer of gratitude

    In many religious practices, thanksgiving prayers are regarded as the most potent type of prayer, since they enable individuals to appreciate life and be thankful often in life.

    6) Come to your sense

    We gain an understanding of what it is to be human and what an amazing gift it is to be alive through our senses—the ability to touch, see, smell, taste, and hear. The human body, when seen through the perspective of appreciation, is not just a magnificent creation, but also a gift.

    7) Make a commitment to practice gratitude

    According to research, committing to do an action increases the chance that the action will be performed out. Therefore, create your own thankfulness pledge, which may be as simple as "I promise to count my blessings each day," and put it in a prominent spot where you will be reminded of it daily.

    8) Watch your language

    Grateful individuals speak in a unique linguistic style that incorporates words such as favours, givers, blessings, blessed, fortune, prosperous, and plenty. In appreciation, you should not concentrate on how genuinely wonderful you are, but rather on the genuinely good acts performed on your behalf by others.

    9) Thank yourself

    Gratitude does not necessarily have to be expressed in terms of what others have done for you! Make a point of thanking yourself for the good habits you've developed in your own life, such as eating lots of vegetables and getting enough sleep each night.

    10) Cherish the pleasant time

    If you find yourself feeling joyful, pause for a few moments and pay attention. Take note of how you feel, including the feelings in your body and the ideas that are passing through your mind. Later on, when you're attempting to inspire appreciation, you may recall this time and relive the advantages.
