My Quarantine life - Day 45, do what makes you happy!

I guess I had a lot of talent in my life, but cooking is not one of my talents. 😂
The truth is sad, I thought that I'd achieved almost everything in my life, but at a certain point, there's always something that I am not good at. This, make me realize that there's a lot of things I need to improve in myself. However, it's not an excuse for me or anyone to not try at least make something, we might felt that we a far behind than anybody else who did much better than us, but it's a regret of not trying to make something even it is a simple thing. 💗
So, today, I'm trying to make something, as I explore and expand my hobbies during this COVID19, I think it's a good thing to explore, can I or can't I make Pinjaram? Haha.
1 Cup of wheat flour
1 Cup of warm water
A half-cup of sugar
A pinch of salt
A cooking oil
All these ingredients were mixed together and I left it overnight at least 8 hours.
I made it, though they are different than those for sale. 😂 For a first trial, I think, that's okay.

What is Pinjaram?
Pinjaram or Penyaram is a traditional food from the Brunei and state of Sabah, Malaysia (Bajau Ethnic). It is a popular food search on google since this quarantine. Try googling it.![]() |

How I make my first trial Pinjaram?
P/s: I don't have enough ingredients, so I just make whatever I like 😂
Ingredients:
1 Cup of rice flour1 Cup of wheat flour
1 Cup of warm water
A half-cup of sugar
A pinch of salt
A cooking oil
All these ingredients were mixed together and I left it overnight at least 8 hours.
The next day:
- Heat the oil in a deep frying pan (medium heat).
- Pour 1 tablespoon of the batter mixture in the middle (a mixture you left for overnight).
- The texture of the Pinjaram should be - round, curly at the sides, and slightly high in the middle.
