Once upon a time, there was a girl named Emily who had just started college. She was a bright and ambitious young woman, but she had never been in love before. That is, until she met Daniel. Daniel was charming, confident, and had a smile that could light up a room. Emily was smitten from the moment she laid eyes on him. They started dating and it wasn't long before they were inseparable. But as time went on, Emily began to notice some things about Daniel that bothered her. He was often late for their dates, and sometimes he would cancel at the last minute. He also seemed to have a wandering eye, checking out other girls even when Emily was right there beside him. Emily started to feel like she was second best, like Daniel wasn't really that into her. But whenever she tried to talk to him about it, he would charm her with his smile and she would forget all about her doubts. Things came to a head one night when Emily went to surprise Daniel at his apartment. She walked in to fin

Three years ago, I was so depressed because I lived like there's no hope in my future. I thought I was going crazy, but looking back on those years, how ugly is it the condition had turned me over and arose the anxiety within me? How did that dark situation snatch the happiness within me?
If I could give you the answer, a simple one, maybe because I, myself, let that happened.
What's the story again?
Oh, living with depression. Everyone had that situation where feeling sad, angry, and so much pain, leading to depression. I'm not sure because I am not a professional life coach, but from what I've seen and heard, everyone I know who had depression symptoms was initially triggered by their problems.
Most of it comes from poverty, fired from a job, unemployment, sickness, and much more. So, basically, maybe the roots of it are from money. But, if money really can make someone happy, why some rich people still end up with misery? So, therefore, I guess the depression started because we allowed it to enter into our life.
The choices are made by you!
Every day, we were given a choice to pick, whether to get up early or not, to start journaling or not, to buy a meal or cook? And much more! It happened to everyone; we were struggling to pick an easy choice; what else for a tough choice?
Maybe it's not happening to everyone; not everyone had a choice every day. Whatever the situation is, there's at least once a person had to make a choice, right? Make a better choice.
Regarding depression, I know that it's not we choose to be in that situation. No one was proud of having that thought of losing happiness, overwhelmed by problems, and worst end up their life. But, if we think again if I had a choice or you had a choice to pick happiness instead of focusing on the problem, definitely we would choose happiness, right?
We were too focused on the problem that we had, our shortcomings, and too busy to compare ourselves with others. And sometimes, our desire to pursue the perfect life had turned over our life when it is not achievable.
Like someone said, it's okay to not have everything; what more valuable is yourself.
Your health, mental health, physical health, and everything should be protected. So instead of creating unnecessary things inside your head, choose to think about a good thing; at least it won't burden you too much about your current situation.
Live, Love, and laugh.
We live once. Only once. Indeed, we sometimes trap in troubles with life, or we don't really have everything that eventually turns us into depressed. It's okay to feel that way sometimes, no one is perfect, but we still learn every day through living.
Many people out there that I've seen walking on the streets sending their children off to school, an old couple of husband and wife works really hard to feed their families, and even kids selling on the road to help their parent.
Comparing with a family that had everything, they still live; happily. Of course, some of them have a problem, especially in money terms, job, or place to stay, but still, they kept living and happy with the imperfection of their life.
Learn from them, live with happiness, and love what they do, while they can still laugh with their family although they were inadequate. Life to short for unhappiness, lives, love, and laugh with what you have right now.
We can live in joyfulness in any sort of life we had; we don't have to wait for a perfect time, now is the time to live simply yet in grateful life. Nevertheless, don't stress up too much; it's not good for your mental health. Live peacefully.
