Once upon a time, there was a girl named Emily who had just started college. She was a bright and ambitious young woman, but she had never been in love before. That is, until she met Daniel. Daniel was charming, confident, and had a smile that could light up a room. Emily was smitten from the moment she laid eyes on him. They started dating and it wasn't long before they were inseparable. But as time went on, Emily began to notice some things about Daniel that bothered her. He was often late for their dates, and sometimes he would cancel at the last minute. He also seemed to have a wandering eye, checking out other girls even when Emily was right there beside him. Emily started to feel like she was second best, like Daniel wasn't really that into her. But whenever she tried to talk to him about it, he would charm her with his smile and she would forget all about her doubts. Things came to a head one night when Emily went to surprise Daniel at his apartment. She walked in to fin
See, Write, and Post-it. Our eyes see and record every memory that goes on in life.
Wouldn't it be great if we had everything?
Will it satisfy us for having it all?
Having everything in your life is such a blessing. So, be thankful for it. Remember how far you go to be where you are right now.
What is the meaning of gratitude?
Gratitude is something that you thankful for, appreciate what you have or what you've been living.
Some people were trying to have everything so that they can show some gratitude. They waited to have a perfect way of living instead of just use everything they had. Time does not wait, so enjoy the little things and use what you had.
Beforehand, I always thought that I must have everything so that I can please my parent. But guess what, even you had enough in your life, you had a lot of money, or having a successful career, that does not guarantee their happiness.
What they need right now? Your precious time.
People will grow old, so does our parent. So, that thought had made me realise that I don't have to wait to be successful; I can start right now in a slow process while spending my time for them. I didn't see that I had more than enough to be thankful for everything.
I am so grateful for what I have right now. Even people see it like a small thing, the happiness in me that does matter to me.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mean telling people that being successful or wealthy is not okay. But, on the contrary, it is a blessing of having both of them. Because some people were working far away from their hometown to fulfil their families.
Keep going on that. My message is to spread, be grateful for everything you had, neither you rich nor poor, because we don't know what will happen in the future. So be thankful for every moment and breath you had.
Make more memories with your loved one, and always be thankful.
How to be grateful?
The perks of being grateful are you'll be happy even though you are so lacking in everything. But, the question now is how to be a thankful person?
When I was down with my life, I see the people surrounding me being happy and enough with their properties. So I was jealous and thought, when will I become one of them?
The only thing I was doing is complaining and comparing without doing any act of getting out of that situation.
I don't know their hard work and how much money, tears, and losses they encounter to be where they are right now.
Humans are always like that; they only satisfied looking at the result of other people but never count how much burden they had made, but still complaining and criticising.
How to be grateful?
- Focus on your life - Stop criticising others and focus on growing yourself. If you have time to comment on others, then you indeed have time to improve yourself.
- Stop comparing - Comparison will steal your happiness. Everyone had their own journey.
- Enjoy a little thing - If you can be grateful for a bit of something, what else if you had a more remarkable thing.
If you don't know what to be grateful for, remember that you still breathing and alive.
